James Strickland

Hello, I’m James Strickland. I live in Tallahassee, Florida, with my youngest daughter. I serve as a Senior Systems Programmer at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Previously, my journey has included roles as a Project Manager, Network Administrator, and System Administrator at Lively Technical College, as well as Veteran Service Officer for Disabled American Veterans. I also served over 17 years in the United States Air Force as a Motor Vehicle Operator (AFSC 603 / 2T1).

Welcome to my blog — a space where I share musings on topics that interest me, ranging from computing and Linux to farming, amateur radio, and life as a parent. This site serves as a place to document and share the projects, experiments, and experiences that keep me curious.

I hope you find something here that resonates with you.
